A gentle reminder:

You are not an object to be fixed, you are a beautiful work in progress.

Here’s the thing…

What do you do when you realize that you’ve been the one holding yourself back, all along?

Self-awareness can be a double-edged sword.

Well, if you’re highly self-aware but have low self-esteem… It’s easy to fall into a space of excessive self criticism.

Every flaw that you find inside of yourself will feel like a threat to your identity that must be fixed immediately.

If you’re not careful, you’ll start to pick yourself apart and question whether or not you’re worth putting back together, again.

When this happens, it’s important to distinguish between how you feel about yourself in the moment, and who you are at your core.

Try to remember that your mistakes don’t define you.

Try to remember that you can be your toughest critic AND your own biggest fan.

Ty to be intentional about the story that you tell yourself about yourself.

Try to remember that you are a beautiful work in progress, not an object to be fixed.
