Good morning ☀️

You’ve made it to Friday!

I hope you have had a wonderful week, full of peace, love, and kindness.

I have a question for you.

When was the last time you felt at rest?

I mean, truly at ease.

I’ve got a quick reminder for you:

Remember to prioritise moments of rest this weekend.

The world we live in today is chock full of stimuli!

From caffeine to our phones, social media, and relationships, there is just so much we keep reacting to, and often unintentionally.

We are unable to strike a balance between activity and rest, work and home, and our lives are constantly out of equilibrium.

We struggle to quiet our minds and turn our thoughts towards heightened vibrations because we are too tired or too stimulated to settle into ourselves.

And so, we cannot grow.

When was the last time you maintained equilibrium in your life?

Have you felt stable, strong and capable of navigating your activities and rest?

Or have you suffered a tank in your work and home life due to an inability to find steadiness in your routine and lifestyle?

I understand how you may feel.

I have lived through moments like these.

Earlier in my life, I believed that I had to sacrifice one aspect of my life for the growth of others but that is simply untrue.

I want you to know that it is indeed possible to maintain equilibrium in your work and home.

To do so, you must learn to strike the balance between moments of activity and moments of rest.

In order for you to grow, you must allow yourself time to recharge.

It is important to allow yourself the time and space to retreat from the world around you and ease into your own space.

This is where you find healing, stability, love, and kindness for yourself.

Set clear boundaries around your personal time and space.

Get off your phone a few hours earlier.

Take a break from career and social commitments.

Get into bed with the intention of waking up fully rested and empowered.

You will notice a great change in your demeanour and how you interact with the world around you.

In the journey to becoming your best self, you must work in conjunction with your mind, body, and soul.

You must honour your body’s needs, and one of them is rest and relaxation.

Please take the time to rest.

You will thank yourself for it!

Have an amazing weekend.

I’ll see you on Monday ?
